About Isis

Isis was born in Naples, a city with a strong Arabic musical heritage made of Tarantella and Tammurriate.
In the Netherlands, where Isis lives, She reconnected with her origin by discovering the Oriental Dance.
She attended the School of Kaouthar Darmoni from whom Isis learnt the complex Oriental Dance techniques and studied the sensual and emotional aspects of the dance.
She travelled to Turkey to attend several workshops with the Oriental Dance Master, Sema Yildiz. The superb grace and the tremendous knowledge of Sema enriched Isis' style with some new elements: the art of choreography and the Turkish gypsy style.
She travels to Belgium, Germany, and Egypt for intensive workshops with highly qualified Masters like: Mo Geddawy, Farida Famy, Mamoud Reda, Hossam Ramzy and Hilal Dance School.

At the moment, Isis teaches Oriental Dance in Amsterdam and performs at parties, theatres and nightclubs.
